I have a special love for Ferndale: my Dad, Guido Flocchini, son of Adele Laffranchi-Flocchini and Charles (Celestino ) Flocchini, was born in 1917 at Grizzly Bluff. The family worked a large dairy ranch in Ferndale of which I have a panoramic picture dated 1921. I’ve visited Ferndale many times over the years and each time I’ve experienced a mystical experience like I belong there, this is my home, a feeling of serenity. I enjoy the updates and emails, please keep them coming.
