Originally invented by Austrian immigrant Herman Herer and later popularized by Victor Bonomo, this beloved candy became a mid-century favorite. Though discontinued in 1989, overwhelming demand brought it back in 2010—much to the joy of nostalgic candy lovers everywhere.
