Black Currants are grown on small bushes and have a very dark, almost black color.

The taste is very intense with a high acidity level. Scandinavian Delight Black Currants are harvested in Denmark.

Each berry is picked at the peek of flavor, using the best quality berries.

Scandinavian Black Currant fruit spread is a perfect compliment as a filling inside your crepes, used on poultry as a glaze and brings a special touch to vanilla ice cream and cheesecake.

Starting with choice, ripe fruit and fresh berries, picked wild and by hand whenever possible, these spreads are prepared slowly and gently, without boiling. This allows the fruit and berries to retain more of their natural flavor, color and sweetness and requires substantially less sugar to be added than regular preserves. Large morsels of fruit or whole berries infuse each jar.
